Houston- The two week shutdown of U.S.government has also affected NASA.  NASA shut down because of a former NASA official said many employees are absent and that is why many experiments have been stopped. George Abbey, former director of the Johnson Space Centre in Houston, said that except employees of the center , 97 percent fewer workers of International Space Centre  are absent. However, the controllers are helping ISS. The center has been associated with the control center of Moscow.

Johnson Space Centre has much damage to the shut down  . The U.S. space shuttle and the United Nations and its international partners in the training center is the responsibility of the center. Also located  Marshall Space Centre near Huntsville in Alabama, Godard Space Flight Centre in Greenbelt, Glenn Research Centre in Cleveland, Ohio and California's Dryden Flight Research Centre has also been affected by lay-offs.
Impact on many space missions

Abby warns that many space operations may be affected by the shutdown.According to them, before flying astronauts on a mission to fulfill training and other activities. But the helping people are absent. Orion spacecraft is in the same condition.

Orion is a multipurpose spacecraft , which takes into orbit the crew capsules and mission analysis brings them out of the classroom. The researchers were working on, they are on vacation. The spacecraft is planned to launch by 2017. The 2-6 astronauts will be sent on the moon, marsh and esteriodes for the Human campaign.
