Alice Munro won the Nobel Prize for literature

Stockholm: Renowned Canadian writer Alice Munro has won this year's Nobel Prize for Literature. She is known as a skilled fiction writer.

Peter Anglnd permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy announced the award on Thursday.
82 years old Munro is the 13th women who have won the Nobel literature.

If we include the all areas of awards then she is the 44th women to won this award.

According to the Sinhua news agency, Nobel  decision Committee' is told  "skilled composer of contemporary short story" to Munro.
