The less range from that called or placed in the category of Long Range Ballistic Missile.

The Range can be increase of AGNI-:

According to specialists if the weight of warhead would be removed from the missile its killer range will be increased. The bomb of with the weight of 5 tons can be keep on the the AGNI-5. If the Weight have reduced and just 1 ton left on the missile then its killer range can be increase up to 1,000 km. The main reason of the long distance missile is for bomb drop.
